If your subwoofer could talk, it would ask you to see Ganja White Night. This Belgian bass duo - Jonathan Baranes and Maxime Cytrynowicz out of Ghent - makes the kind of dubstep that rearranges your skeleton in real time. And they do it with this unique wobble sound that's become one of the most recognizable signatures in the entire bass music world. Nobody sounds like GWN. They carved out their own lane and they own it completely.
GWN have been building their following since 2010, and the trajectory has been straight up with no signs of slowing. They went from underground producers trading files online to headlining Red Rocks (multiple times, because they earned it) and selling out venues across the country, all without compromising their sound or chasing mainstream trends. The "Wobble" EP and albums like "The Origins" established this dark, heavy, cartoon-inspired aesthetic that's completely their own. Plenty of producers have tried to replicate it and none have come close.
The live show is where it gets truly wild in the best possible way. Their visuals feature hand-drawn animated characters (Mr. Wobble and the whole crew) that sync up perfectly with the music, creating this audio-visual journey that feels like falling into a very loud, very bass-heavy cartoon world. The production is massive, the bass hits you in your chest physically, and the crowd is always deep in it - headbanging, raging, and covered in the kind of sweat that only comes from going full send for two straight hours without pausing. The fan community around GWN is dedicated and passionate, sharing recordings, creating art, and generally maintaining one of the most enthusiastic fanbases in all of bass music.
If you like your music heavy, your visuals trippy, and your bass so deep you can feel it in your teeth, GWN is absolutely essential. Check available shows on Evil Tickets and prepare your neck muscles. You're going to need them.
