If you want to be entertained, you go to Las Vegas.

If you want to party by the pool, you go to Las Vegas.

If you want to lose all your money in one roll, you also go to Vegas (but don’t focus on that one)

Whether it’s your first or fortieth time coming to Sin City, shits about to go down. Here’s your Las Vegas entertainment and event guide.

Listen Up

Care to get nostalgic and see your younger-self’s favorite act? Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez, and Elton John are all in residence and put on a crazy-fun show. Plus, it’s an excuse to get out and see other hotel’s vibes, restaurants, and slot machines (so you can start planning your next trip).

Twisted Up

We’re not talking about drinking here. We’re talking about human bodies, flying overhead and twisting in and out of hoops and rings. Cirque du Soleil is a must in Las Vegas. It’s the circus from your childhood—grown up.

While there are new Cirques added all the time, some of the OGs are the best. “O” and “Mystere” have been running for years, and are a great place to start for those new to the show.

And finally, for those looking for something more… heart stopping, check out Burlesque or Thunder from Down Under. These bachelor/ette shows are rated R but will give you cherished memories for a lifetime.

Allll The Food

Las Vegas is known around the world for it’s overwhelming (in the best way) buffets. Any on- strip hotel will have a dinner buffet and you. Have. To. Try. It.

Lobster? Check? Cuts of Filet? Check? French pastries? More than you can count. We recommend essentially starving yourself for the six hours leading up to your buffet. It will be worth it.

If you’re on a budget, or lost all your money in Craps, there are plenty of cheap eats with all the Klout of fine dining. The massive Taco Bell on the strip has an extended menu with a full bar. (Plus, you can get hitched there.) The Heart Attack Grill is an infamous burger joint that gives away free food to 350-pound plus patrons. Or stroll into an In-and-Out and get fries animal style.

Finally, remember, you can carry drinks around in Vegas. Gift shop liquor run, anyone?

Shopping

There are plenty of ways to justify your shopping spree in Vegas, but where to go? Some of the biggest shopping areas include:

Vegas Outlet Stores - You'll need to drive, but its well worth it. This massive outdoor mall has 100+ discounted stores.

Fashion Show - Across from The Wynn, this massive mall also has just about every store you could ever want.

The Forum at Cesar's Palace - Get ready to splurge at these gorgeous inside shops.

Le Boulevard at Paris - If you want a summertime experience with powerful A/C, head to Paris and be amazed!

Downtown Las Vegas

While you're in Vegas, we recommend heading to Fremont Street. You can zip-line through the iconic tunnel, play $5 minimums, and get drunk for less than $20. Now that's a royal flush. Located a quick Uber or Taxi ride from the strip.

Gamble

Or don’t. That parts up to you.
